MEDICAL PROCEDURES

Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy uses a tube called a colonoscope to examine the large intestine (colon) and rectum. This test looks for swelling, irritation, polyps, or cancer.

EGD (Upper Endoscopy)

An upper endoscopy also referred to as an esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), uses an endoscope to diagnose problems in the esophagus, stomach, and first part of the small intestine.

ERCP & Stents

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopan creatography (ERCP) examines and treats problems in the bile ducts, gallbladder, and pancreatic ducts. It’s commonly used to find and remove

Esophageal Dilation

An esophageal dilation stretches the wall of the esophagus to relieve a stricture or abnormal narrowing. It helps ease swallowing difficulties or the feeling of blockage in the throat.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

A flexible sigmoidoscopy uses a scope to check the sigmoid colon, which is the lower part of your large intestine. It can take biopsies and show irritated tissue, polyps, ulcers, or cancer.

IV Therapy

IV therapy administers medicine intravenously through a needle or catheter. Also called infusion therapy, this procedure treats conditions that may not respond to oral antibiotics.

Nutritional Counseling

Our doctors help you understand how food choices influence digestive health. We create a customized nutritional profile and a detailed diet prescription with meal plans and cooking tips.

PEG Placement

A percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement inserts a feeding tube through the skin directly into the stomach. This is helpful when you can’t get all the nutrition you need by mouth.
